Col (retd) Bhaskar Sarkar V S M
Col (Retd) Bhaskar Sarkar VSM was born in 1940. He graduated in civil engineering from Kolkata University in 1963 and did post-graduation in Defense Studies at Defense Services Staff College, Wellington and in Management at College of Defense Management in Secundrabad 1983. He joined the Indian Army in 1963 and hung his boots after 28 years of distinguished service in the rank of Colonel. He was decorated twice for distinguished service. After retirement Col Sarkar joined the construction industry as a civil engineering and management consultant and served on many interesting projects. He was keen sportsman and his hobbies include wild life, gardening, travelling and charity work. A versatile writer, he has twelve published books in print and another 12“e” books and hundreds of articles.
