Dr. Somu Singh has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi for the last 14 years. His expertise lies in teacher education,use of information and communication technology in education, innovative teaching methods (social sciences), psychology of learner and development, and Indian knowledge systems. Under his guidance, four Ph.D. level and 30 PG level students have successfully completed their research work. Many of his research articles have been published in prestigious research journals at national and international level. He is the founder of a national level academic group called ‘Teacher Educators for Social Services’
