Parveena Akhter

Parveena Akhter, the author of this book was born in Ajar town of district Bandipore in the north of Kashmir. She acquired her earlier education from a local public school, graduated from govt. degree college Bandipora, she did masters in education from Kashmir university and in English literature from IGNOU. She loves teaching and currently she is working as a teacher.

She is a multi-talented person, who started writing from an early age and wrote her beautiful poem "Strange Playmate" in 7th standard. She is a kind of person who finds happiness in little things around her, and has an art of painting colours of sentiments not only into pictures but also into words, and decorates poems into a book, like pearls beautify a necklace, her hobbies are reading, writing, painting, gardening and likes capturing true beauties of nature. She has been awarded and appreciated for such skills right from her childhood. She writes to bring positive change in the mindset of a person and believes in her quote, as her own saying goes, "Life rewards those who put their best efforts to pull off hurdles in it."
