Sharad Sarin
Prof. Sharad Sarin (Electrical Engineer1967, MBA from IIMA, 1972) is a former senior faculty at XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a visiting faculty at IIM Ahmedabad among many other national and internationally acclaimed institutes. Dr. Sarin has about 45 years of professional experience including several consultancy assignments in marketing and strategic management.
He was named amongst the top five teachers of business management in India by Business Standard, a leading business daily newspaper in India. He was honored with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by Higher Education Forum, Mumbai, in 2017 and IIM Indore in 2022 for his contribution to education. Dr. Sarin is also widely known as the creator of the concept of “Marketing Fair”.

G. M. Kapur is a long-time resident of Kolkata. After his schooling here, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the IIT-BHU in 1971 and Post Graduation in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) in 1973. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineers as well as a Chartered Engineer since 1991. He started his career in banking and then was involved in a few start-ups. He is currently an independent management consultant and Advisor, Trade, and Commerce to the Royal Norwegian Consulate, Kolkata He is a member of the National Governing Council and State Convener of The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). He has been recently conferred the prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award by IIM Calcutta.
