‘India and Beyond’ contains midnight musings of a lonely man, who penned down his thoughts, unfiltered and untainted. Caveat: Those who are too sensitive about their notions and nuts about their political inclinations should avoid reading this book. People from both ends of the political spectrum may find the write-ups challenging the current beliefs and narratives they subscribe to.
This is not a piece of academic work, but a collection of random, late-night thoughts, sapiosexuals dream of discussing with their soulmates, sitting next to a bonfire, in the midst of extreme winters.
Abhaidev
Abhaidev is the pen name of Mayank Chandna, author of eight books, namely, The Influencer: Speed Must Have a Limit, The World’s Most Frustrated Man, 13 Minutes Before Midnight, and, The Gods Are Not Dead, etc. After working for a while in an investment bank, he took the plunge and quit that boring job of his to venture into the exciting world of writing, something he always wanted to do.
His penchant for continental philosophy and craze for progressive house and indie music has nettled his simple parents. He is an avid reader and devours classics and science books. Like most people with a DSLR, he loves flaunting his non-existent photography skills on social media platforms.
Abhaidev loves challenging his limits and believes that there is nothing nobler in this world than possessing an intense desire to learn. He seeks transcendence in the practice of art and hopes to pen down stories that are not run-of-the-mill.
’India and Beyond’ is his second work of non-fiction.
