Prof R. N. Bahl has served as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad, Haryana. He is Charted Engineer with 23 year plus teaching experience at national and international levels to UG and PG students. He has developed several teaching aids and learning materials for students and has guided several credential projects. He has guided a prestigious project for BAJA 2009, which got first position in Technology innovation held in Indore (M.P). Prior to joining teaching, he has served for more than 26 years in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (Army) which includes six years of teaching to junior and senior officers and eight years in industry. While in army he was involved with the repairs and overhaul of internal combustion engines of army vehicles and tanks. During his stint in the army he has done two advance level courses which are equivalent to post-graduation in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. He is the author of two important books, Thermal Engineering and Automobile Design for UG and PG Students.
