The "Internet of Things for Beginners: A Practical Approach" book is in active development by a joint effort from both academia and industrial collaborators, acknowledging that the Internet of Things of the future will be built on top of scalable and mature protocols, such as IPv6, 6LoWPAN and IEEE 802.15.4. Open-Source Operating Systems as Contiki, with more than 10 years of history and actively supported by universities and research centres, have been paving the Internet of Things Road since the early beginnings of Wireless Sensor Networks and M2M communication, enabling the new IoT paradigm.

Mr. Anand Pandey is having 3.5 years of teaching experience in the field of computer application and Information Technology. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University. He has a vast knowledge in the area Artificial intelligence, IOT, Machine Learning and Leading software’s used in the organisations. Moreover, filled one international patent and published one Indian patent in the area IOT and Artificial Intelligence. Multiple conferences/FDPs/Workshops/Conclaves have been attended by him and also presented and participated in them.
Dr. Yusuf Perwej received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and M.Tech (IT) from Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Govt. of India Research & Development Centre, Noida, India and MCA from Govt. of Delhi, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. Presently, he is Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT), Lucknow, UP, India. Former he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences, College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Al Baha University, Al Baha , Saudi Arabia. Former he was senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Sciences, College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Jazan University, Jazan, Saudi Arabia. He has completed funded research projects from the Deanship of Scientific Research, Al Baha University, and the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia. He has 15 years of teaching and academic experience. He is an active researcher who has 100+ publications (including journals paper, conference proceeding, books chapters and books) in reputed journals and conferences in high indexing databases (UGC Care, WOS, SCIE, Scopus, ESCI, etc) and has patents granted from the India. His research interests include Soft Computing, Big Data, IoT (Internet of things), Blockchain etc. He is a professional member of IEEE, SCOPUS ISOC, Thomson Reuters Researcher ID:- D-5903-2017, CSI, ISTE, ASEE, IAENG, IACSIT, CSTA, SCIA, ISTE, AIS, ICST, SDIWC and Blockchain Council Member.
