The author Dr. Siddhartha Swarup Jena, native of Balasore, Odisha, is an eminent Agriculture officer in the Department of Agriculture and Farmer's Empowerment, Odisha. He has done his B.Sc. (Ag) from the college of agriculture, Bapatla (ANGRAU) in 2007 and M.Sc. (Ag) with specialisation of Biotechnology from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar in 2009. Author has pursued his doctrate degree in Molecular biology and Biotechnology from PJTSAU, Hyderabad in 2015. he has also obtained MBA degree in HRM from NIBM, Coimbatore in 2016.
