Author Name: Mayadhar Swain | Format: Paperback | Genre : Children & Young Adult | Other Details

Many young students suffer from arithmophobia, i.e. a fear of numbers. They think mathematics is difficult as compared to other subjects. Many young children have a fear of mathematics; as a result, they do not perform well in exams. Our method of teaching somehow seems to be responsible for this. The teacher generally writes theorems and formulas and solves some related problems. This does not create interest in the minds of young children. Many of the stories are quite ancient and are known in different civilizations in the form of folk tales.
