Elvira Fernandez is an avid reader of all kinds of literature, but children’s literature, fantasy and romance top her list. She is a Rajasthan-based author who loves to write for children. She has written short stories, plays, poems and also content for some academic books, apart from some editing assignments.
Working as an English Lecturer, she shares a close connection with children and enjoys her students’ quirks. She is fond of animals, especially her fur babies- a dog and a cat. Her love for children and her pets find expression in her stories. “A teacher always remains a child at heart,” she says. “Surrounded by so much of liveliness, a teacher is constantly in a state of effervescence.”
This trilogy has its genesis in her joyous childhood, the time that she lives and re-lives through her vibrant students. By intermingling realism and fantasy in this book, she aims to enchant children to read and imbibe a better way of living.
