Ashwini Kumar Singh is presently a Management Consultant. He has 47 years of experience with the largest steel producer of India, Steel Authority of India & with ESSAR Group - more than 35 years in Senior Management.
He had the leadership of HRD functions all over the SAIL. He was selected in the board of SAIL and has extensive cross functional Management background spanning areas such as Manufacturing, Training, HRD, Corporate Planning and Marketing.
He has experience as Managing Director, Rourkela Steel Plant and has led the personnel function as Director (Personnel) and the Marketing Division of SAIL as Director (Commercial). He Worked for more than 8 years with ESSAR Group for Jharkhand Projects as Resident Director ESTL and then as CEO, EPJL.
Singh has visited USSR, UK, Austria, Australia, Malaysia, Geneva, Egypt, USA for special assignment and specialized training. He has delivered many lectures on Technical and management subjects in National and International fora and published many papers.
“Managing People- Strategy for 21st century” and “Three C’S – Change; Customer & Competition” are other books published by him.
He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers, Fellow of National HRD Network, Fellow of All India Management Association, Council member of Indian Institute of Metals, Fellow of Indian Council of Arbitration.
