STALIN S has a bachelor's degree from Madras Christian College and Master's degree from Pachaiyappa’s College. He received his Ph.D. from Madras Christian College under the supervision of Dr. P. George, on the topic of "Folk Tales Performing Techniques and Processes" . He continues his research in the fields of Folklore and Linguistics. He has published literary works and research books. “Short Story collection, Folk Tales collection work (kancheepuram District), Folk Tales towards Performing Arts, Vidi-Vidukathai-Pudir -A Study” are the books authored by him. His book Waggle Dance is published by Tamil Nadu Science forum. He has presented and published more than thirty research papers in national, international seminars and research journals. As work experience, he worked as Associate Professor in Tamil Department at Guru Nanak College for 12 years and is now working in the Department of Tamil at Madras Christian College since 2020.
