Dr. Giftsy Dorcas E., hails from Tamil Nadu and works as an English faculty at Kristu Jayanti College (Autonomous), Bengaluru. She has completed her doctoral degree in English Literature. Her areas of interest include Emotional Intelligence, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Diasporic Writing. She is a published writer having co-authored a poetry book Word Warriors: A Book of Poetry (2018); compiled three anthologies Riparian Reveries (2021), Cakes and Carols (2021) and Red Wine (2021); published poems, short stories in 60 plus anthologies, and has also been part of 7 National Record holding books. She has research publications in 15 journals and 4 chapters in books along with co-editing two books Phonetics Excercise Handbook (2023) and Trending Research Concern (2023). She is a recepient of awards like Young Teacher Award, 2023 given by Research Foundation of India and InkQuill Holders Award, 2022.
