Out of the blue something snapped. It was wife.
“Stop giving instructions. STOP telling me what to do!”
I quickly looked around. We were about 100-150 meters from the shore. I was relieved nobody would hear us.
“You can paddle correctly left-right, left-right. At least we will go straight.” Said I, trying to remain calm.
“Shut up. I will NOT row.”
“It’s quite easy. Just make a little effort. Follow my instructions!” said I, not realizing the supreme stupidity of my statement. Strong independent woman are not the ones born to follow instructions. And certainly not those from their spouse. Kayak or no kayak. Phi Phi be damned.
“My back’s hurting, you idiot!. Give me support!!” yelled she.
Her words and tone didn’t quite addup. I sensed more exasperation than pain in her voice.
