Neelam Seedher, M.Sc., Ph D retired as Professor from Panjab University, Chandigarh,India with specialization in Physical Chemistry. She has 35 years of teaching and 43 years of research experience in the area. She has published 63 research papers in peer-reviewed  journals, undertaken 4 research projects as principal investigator and supervised 3 Ph D thesis and 40 M.Sc. research projects. She has been awarded Prof. M. L. Khorana Memorial Prize (Best Paper Award) for the year 2001 and 2006 by Indian Pharmaceutical Association. She has also presented research papers in a large number of National and International   conferences/Symposia and acted as resource person in the refresher courses for college teachers conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh, India from time to time. Actively participated in all academic and administrative activities of the Chemistry Department, Panjab University and has been President of Panjab University Chemical Society for 4 years. In the present book, physical chemistry concepts which form the basis of lab experiments have been compiled and explained clearly. The book written in a unique way is a ready reckoner for undergraduate students. More than 600 questions have been posed and answered. The author is also writing a blog titled ‘nphyschem.blogspot.com’. Solved numerical problems based on various topics in physical chemistry are discussed.
