Poison and Antidote is an empathetic collection of poetry which has two main themes: Poison which describes guilt, self-doubt, insecurity, betrayal and other dark realities of life and Antidote which explores self-reflection, acceptance, self-love, healing and growth.
The poems relate to the reader and help validate their feelings during tough times. They give strength to challenge life and inspire readers to be more self-reflecting and self-loving.

Samyukta Balasubramanian is currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering in Bengaluru. She’s an avid book reader and her favourite genres are fantasy, romance and contemporary. She is also interested in pencil sketching and has recently taken up digital art. She enjoys dancing and listening to music and has learnt Carnatic music.
