Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis dissertation, tries to cover the theoretical backdrop of the Prenuptial Agreements, in different Countries, and tries to find out the ground, it holds in India today.
With increasing cases of malafide marriages, enhanced divorce rates, and the highly increasing popularity of Prenuptial Agreements worldwide, this Dissertation, is an attempt to cover the practical ground work, and explore the field realities, of survey.
The charts, as tabulated, have been based on the inventory reports, attached at the end, and simple methods of calculation, have been used, without the Pie Square Method.
This dissertation, aims to analyse, the public opinion on this burning issue, and along with, also attempts to cover the relevant matrimonial laws applicable, and the landmark judgments of Honourable Supreme Court, High Courts & other District Courts.
The trends for different age groups, have been categorized, and the religious disparities, have also been highlighted.
It is noteworthy, that this dissertation, tries to use the Projective and Collative Processes, instead of delving into the Explicative Process.
Having said that, just as the research process and law, both neither operate in vacuum, nor do they function in seclusion, the methodology used in this project, is also a combination of different processes and approaches.
