PRABDEEP ‘SONNY’ BEHL
A veteran, second generation, senior officer of the Indian Army, Prabdeep ‘Sonny’ Behl has served all over India and with the United Nations abroad. His vast experience in leading troops has given him a profound insight into the aspects related to the human psyche. He strongly believes that people from different cultures behave, act and assert in different manners under trying, and not so trying conditions. His wide operational command and staff experience spread over 36 years in the Indian Army, prompted him to take a break from the routine and sit down to write his debut book. Widely travelled, a golfer, an amateur birder and a linguist, he has imbibed the ‘happy go lucky’ attitude of the Punjabis, the community that he is born into, as also that of the lovely people of the North East with whom he has been associated with since birth.
