Sushant Verma, Suha Al-Salamain
Sushant Jai-Amita Verma is an Architect, Design Technologist and an Educator, currently leading rat[LAB] Studio (Research in Architecture and Technology) (www.rat-lab.org) that investigates intersections of design, art & technology through architecture, interior design and art installations. He holds a Masters Degree in Emergent Technologies & Design from Architectural Association, London and is a former architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, London. Being actively invested into academic innovations, he is the leading founder of rat[LAB]EDUCATION, SMART LABS & EDU[LAB] INDIA – unique academic initiatives to advocate use of technology in design through independently-organized design workshops, programmes and online education portals.
Suha Al-Salamain is an award-winning architect with a focus on urban design and workspace interiors. After graduating from the American University of Sharjah with a Bachelor degree in Architecture & minors in urban design and design management, Suha joined Almax Design, a Dubai-based design studio. From drawing fashion illustrations to creating things from scratch, Suha has always been drawn to take on complex challenges that require out-of-the-box solutions. With more than 10 years of rigorous experience under her belt, Suha excels at creating human-centric designs. Her passion & creative flair has honed her design skills to develop new typologies in architecture & design.
