Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalFrom the time I have begun to write, I have always attempted to make the words rhyme or speak about the issues present in society. I have never been a story weaver, but it has always been my desire to write beautiful stories that not only provide a sense of comfort to the readers but also help them learn something new. Having grown up listening to plenty of stories from my Grandad, uncles, aunts, and occasionally my parents, stories always enticed me. I was always fascinated by the beautiful tales and the mesmerizing impact that would create on the listener or reader. Robert McKee quotes by saying “Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world”. What better way to ignite the minds of the young than through a simple story?
I remember when I was young, rushing to the moral science class as we had the privilege of listening to beautiful stories, narrated by our teacher. They were fascinating, enthralling, and always carried a lesson at the end. Having thought about this for a long, I finally ventured out to write my own stories, and what better way than to write for the tiny tots? Finally, I am here with my first story Seven stones. A small story that beautifully narrates the life of Lorretta, who from a stubborn child bloomed to become a beautiful young girl. Read through for your tiny tots, how the 7 magical stones turn the life of Lorretta in this magical and inspirational story.
