The author received his Masters in Technology (Communication Electronics) from Department of Electronics, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and Masters in Science (Solid State Electronics) from the University of Kerala, with a graduateship in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IETE, New Delhi. With more than five years of biomedical research and development experience at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, he has been working with KSEB Ltd. for the last twenty-two years, as an Electrical Engineer at various capacities in various domains, during which he has been instrumental in customizing and implementing the Power System SCADA/DMS Project, especially the design of the physical-cyber-security aspects of automated power systems and Smart Grid. His current areas of interest include Power System Automation, Physical-Cyber-Security of Distributed Control Systems, Smart Grid and Microgrid. Beyond work he has been engaged into the vibrant and fascinating world of the creativity and chaos of the cosmic energy by attempting diverse forays and always toeing a fine line between physics and engineering since post-graduation.
