Statistics for Engineers with R Programming is a textbook for advanced undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of disciplines. The book is a composition of R concepts followed by the usage of R in statistics. It is intended to prepare students to deal with solving statistical problems using R programming beyond the classroom and university settings. We presume students using this book have a minimal mathematical background (high school algebra) and no prior coursework in statistics. The first eight chapters cover the basic concepts of R programming. Chapters nine to eighteen deal with statistical concepts using R. The last three chapters provided case studies that explore the concept of statistics to problems of a very practical nature.

Dr. Ram Prasad Reddy Sadi is a Professor in Engineering with a strong record in teaching specializing in using machine learning models and programming languages like Python and R. He has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning from JNT University Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He has over 23 years of experience in teaching and 12 years of experience in Research. He has contributed a good number of research papers with indexing in Scopus and Web of Science. His research interest includes Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is a life member of IEI.

Dr. B V A N S S Prabhakar Rao Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada is currently a faculty member in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. He has rich teaching, research, and administrative experience and contributed a lot to the teaching profession for the last two decades in the area of Software Engineering. He has been teaching Software Engineering to undergraduate and postgraduate students along with other computer science and engineering courses.  He published several research papers in both national and international journals and conferences in the area of Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Soft Computing, Agriculture, Health Care, and Engineering Economics. He published a few book chapters. He volunteered as a reviewer for many books, international conferences & journals. He is a Life Member of CSTA, IACSIT, IAENG, ISCA, and ISTE.
