'Stings of the exodus' is the sequel of the novel, 'ECHOES OF THE GETAWAY'. This novel is an English translation of the Hindi novel titled ' PRATISHRUTI', written by famous Hindi novelist Ravindra Prabhat. The narrative moves from Kashmir to foreign lands, where macro problems of migrants and refugees are portrayed in a powerful way.
‘STINGS OF THE EXODUS' focuses on the global refugee problem, which has today become a great challenge and curse for the whole humanity. This novel presents a story of struggle for existence and identity in any adverse situation in such a strong and interesting way, that the narrative touches the inner cord and sensibilities of the readers. The writer has handled the complicated and sensitive subject in a very balanced and emotional way, but while exploring, in reality the writer is very candid and bold in sense of expressions. Though the characters and incidents of the plot are fictitious, but each character represent some or the other human tragedy happening around the world.

Ravindra Prabhat is a Hindi novelist, journalist, poet, and short story writer from India. He has worked as an editor and screen play writer. Some of his works have been translated into other languages and published in various literary magazines and anthologies. He has been writing since 1987 in various subjects. He is also chief editor of Parikalpana Samay (Hindi Monthly Magazine). He is a realistic poet, often writing about social topics and human suffering. His work often touches on human suffering and social issues. He has written and edited works on Hindi blogging, and has also published his writing in the form of a blog. He started blogging in 2007, and has published fiction as well as reviews of other blogs. He is a founding member of the Parikalpna Award, a blog literary award in India. It is presented by the magazine Parikalpana Samay and the Non-governmental organization Parikalpnaa. The first Parikalpna Award was presented on 30 April 2011.
