Manoje Nath
Manoje Nath studied English Literature at Patna University. A 1973 batch IPS officer, he cracked the civil services at the age of 22, placing third in the country. He chose Bihar Cadre and retired as DG in 2012. The Media has described him as "Fiercely Independent", "Lone Warrior" and a "Tough Nut to Crack". His efforts to apply law without fear or favour throughout his career won him the respect of the community and the displeasure of the powers that be.
