Shivani Mishra
Shivani Mishra is a final year undergraduate student at St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, pursuing English Honours. She began the process of writing this book while in her last year of school. The idea to write on the theme of religion came to her when she saw an intensification of religious prejudices and an upsurge in the number of religion-driven hate crimes surrounding her. As a result, she writes a story interweaving religion with the private worlds of the characters, while giving a significant amount of focus on the role of gender, friendship and family as an institution.
