Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Kumar Gupta is currently working as a Principal and Dean at Career Point School of Pharmacy, Career Point University, Kota (Raj). He obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (UP) in 2006, a Masters in Pharmacy degree from J.S.S. College of Pharmacy, Ooty (TN) in 2002, a Bachelor in Pharmacy degree from L.M. College of Science and Technology (Pharmacy), Jodhpur (Rajasthan) in 1999, and qualified GATE, conducted by IIT Bombay in 1999. He has guided more than 15 Ph.D. students and more than 45 Masters of Pharmacy students. He is the author of more than 30 books in National and International publication (GPAT book, Text Book of Pharmacognosy, Text Book of Organic Chemistry of Natural Products, Remedial Biology, Environmental Sciences, Drug Inspector, Drug Controller Officer, Text Book of Pathophysiology, Text Book of Environmental Science, and Natural Products), has published more than 150 research papers, holds over 12 patents, and has presented more than 100 papers in National and International Conferences. He was awarded the Outstanding Excellence Award for contribution to Pharmaceutical Education and research and was named Principal of the Year. He was also an esteemed Judge in the Smart India Hackathon 2019. He is chairman of the IEC and Animal Ethical Committee, the Chairman of BOS, and a member of the Academic Council. He has been the convener of many National and International conferences. He is a member and reviewer of many National and International journals, including the African Journal of Pure and Applied Chemistry, the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, APTI (the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India), etc. He has completed three AICTE sponsored projects (Seminar, EDP, and RPS). He has conducted many National and International conferences.
