Vedashree Joshi holds a degree in Bachelor of Laws. But she has an inclination towards subjects like sociology and philanthropy.
Since the age of twelve, she has been interested in writing and has written numerous quotes, poems and short stories. A few of them have been published.
She is inspired by her grandfather, the late Shri. Madhukar Nilkanth Joshi, a well-known Marathi poet and a songwriter who was able to deliver astounding pieces such as Ashich Aamchi Aai asti Sundar Rupvati, Gol ase hi Duniya and ani gol ase rupyaa.
Being a junior law assistant in Mumbai, Vedashree has always been advocating the importance of voicing against stereotypes and breaking the status quo. At 24, she strives to take her writing pursuit a step ahead and bring difficult subjects to light, making her an author with her debut novel, The Awaited.
