      Dr.Sivanakalai, S was born in Madurai in 1977. He received  Ph.D in the School of Library and Information Science from Madurai Kamaraj University. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, Eritrea Institute of Technology, Eritrea. He was worked with various Colleges/Institutions as a Librarian from 2006 to 2016 and he also worked as a Central Library in IITM. He was the coordinated of free Open Source Software from the spoken tutorial project, IITB. He is research interests in open source software like integrated Library Automation (Koha), Digital Library (DSpace, E-Print, and Resource Space & GreenStone), and Learning Management System (Moodle) software. He has published more than 30 research papers in a related field.
