Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis book unravels the world of kidney diseases and lays them out in an easy manner. The need for this book arose after several conversations with clinicians and students, outside of nephrology, who sometimes find the complexities of kidney disease—diagnosis and management—intimidating.
This book is designed to bridge the gap between complex nephrology knowledge and the needs of general practitioners and medical doctors by providing a clear and simplified guide to understanding kidney diseases.
The key features of this book include illustrated infographics at the end of each chapter. These infographics condense complex information onto a single page for a quick review of the core concepts of each topic. The book also includes updated content across chapters, clinical images, and topics covering diverse but clinically relevant areas of nephrology. Our esteemed authors, national and international medicine and nephrology faculty, have distilled their expertise onto these pages to help you grasp intricate concepts such as acute kidney injuries, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, glomerular disease, kidney transplantation, and kidney infections in simple easy-to-understand language. As a cherry on top, we’ve dedicated a bonus section exclusively with infographics on the approach and management of electrolyte and acid-base disorders.
Whether you are a general practitioner, family physician, internist, nurse, or any healthcare provider seeking to enhance your knowledge of kidney diseases, this book is your comprehensive and user-friendly guide. We invite you to embark on this journey with us, where the complex becomes comprehensible, and together we strive for better care, quicker diagnosis, and healthier kidneys!
