Our understanding of nature and natural phenomena is expanding by leaps and bounds every day. We are a species of inquisitive, curious and ever-developing organisms and we really need to change our definition of the word ‘impossible.’ Cellular technology which was considered impossible a few generations ago is in the pockets of everyone today. It is impossible no more.
Sceptics will keep on denying the existence of such phenomena but to a person who has actually experienced a premonition or premonitions, the staunchest of denials is absolutely irrelevant. It is true that the actual mechanics of such an experience is not understood yet but that applies to a plethora of other natural phenomena too.
Does that mean they are non-existent? The true mechanism of how a foetus crosses a particular threshold to attain consciousness is unknown but does that mean consciousness does not exist? Gravity is well approximated by Newton's law of universal gravitation that was formulated in Newton's work Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica ("the Principia"), first published on 5thJuly 1687. Later Gravity was most accurately described by the general theory of relativity (proposed by Albert Einstein in 1915). But does that mean Gravity did not exist before it was postulated and described?
This book takes you on a remarkable journey into the realm of premonitions and how this ability to sense the future forever changes the lives of those who experience it.

In search of a reductionist explanation of baffling phenomena, sometimes sceptics and even the brightest intellectuals miss real details. A sincere and hard attempt must then be made to accept and explain what actually is rather than what we wish it to be.This should be the case for everyone alike. The mystery of nature is infinite. Humans have made tall claims since time immemorial, declaring human wisdom to be at the epitome of all that exists. Are these claims valid? Well, every now and then something comes along in the form of an event, phenomenon, experience or occurrence that shakes the very ground of our revered knowledge. We must keep making candid labours to augment the bank of knowledge that we already have and to keep exploring novel frontiers of the natural world keeping in view that there might be some vital aspects that have been overlooked during our intensely motivated and focussed acquisitive progress towards technological advancement. Also, the spiritual wisdom might actually be deeper and much more relevant today than imagined. Taking pride in all his institutions, the man of science and materialistic reductionism has been feeling safe, secure and confident. Almost as if nothing could wobble his foundations anymore. Well just a while ago it was proven to the world that something as tiny as a virus can do that and much more. Then, in almost everyone’s life, there are days when we ask the crisp yet taut question to ourselves, ‘How much do we actually know?
We are surrounded by countless phenomena which blatantly defy rational explanation. Occurrences, which cannot be reduced to mere computations. No matter how much we think we know when we look at the position, that we are completely unaware of the existence of most of the mysteries that the universe holds, we feel humbled. No matter how much we think we know when we look at the position, that we are completely unaware of the existence of most of the mysteries that the universe holds, we feel humbled. What this means is that there will always be stuff pertaining to the realm of the unknown that we do not know about and an even bigger truth is that we are completely unaware of that fact too. That is utterly confounding but true. When we talk about the unexplained phenomena around us, we mostly end up describing those topics that are most commonly talked about and are maybe over discussed by now, but we forget that those subjects constitute no more than about two percent of the surfeit of mysterious happenings that have been so bizarre that science has not even started to explain them. There are a few though, who bear the standard of a true pioneer. Dr. Dean Radin is one such researcher who is a physicist committed to deep research in psychokinesis, he is the author of the book, ‘Supernormal’ and many others and has been Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), in Petaluma, California, USA, since 2001. He is also on the Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Psychology at Sonoma State University. This book is more of an expedition into that part of the unknown which has either been little reported or has never been published before.

This powerhouse called the human brain is built with 86 billion neurons firing away, communicating with other neurons and creating a network of astounding intricacy. Containing phenomenal complexity a human brain consists of chemically and electrically excitable neurons which facilitate a plethora of specialized tasks.
Each neuron is capable of connecting with tens of thousands of other neurons. Billions of these minicomputers interacting in a small space with tens of thousands of other minicomputers at a time, is exactly what makes the human brain a unique marvel. Dendrites extend from the neuron cell body and receive messages from other neurons. Synapses are the contact points where one neuron communicates with another. The dendrites are covered with synapses formed by the ends of axons from other neurons. When neurons receive or send messages, they transmit electrical impulses along their axons, which can range in length from a tiny fraction of an inch to three feet or more.
But if what I described above is the human brain, the question arises, ‘What is mind?’

Can a dead brain form memories? Can we explain the post death hyperactivity recorded in the brain? Do the cases of past life memories, that were later conformed too, are a reasonable proof of reincarnation? Do the occurrences of premonitions which are later corroborated mean that we really do have an ability to see a glimpse of the future? If yes, then what does it mean for the future of neuroscience. It is questions like these that boggle the human mind.

Physicists and other mainstream scientists generally tend to dismiss these happenings as irrelevant anecdotes. Although history has taught us some very hard lessons that have demolished such kind of approach in the past. We have learnt that the anomalies and the divergent phenomena have always led to the next advancement, the subsequent paradigm shift and the successive disruptive innovation or discovery. The data is piling up. The bank of accounts is now beyond callous dismissal. This section presents exactly such cases which deeply confound all those who study them. From a casual reader to the most serious researcher, such divergent phenomena are exceedingly perplexing.
In this section you will find a depository of peculiar and deeply engrossing reports and accounts of such anomalies which I feel must not be ignored.
There are countless things in existence that we are not aware of. The truth is, that we are completely oblivious to that fact too, that we don’t have the knowledge of those things. So whenever we address the subject of paranormal with a presumption in our mind that it is just a collection of cooked up stories and interesting hoaxes, we should ask ourselves this question, ‘How much do we actually know?’
Our compilation of empirical knowledge is changing every day. Whatever we believed to be unchangeable has – changed. On May 7, 2014 Scientific American's article on how a bacterium's DNA was engineered to contain an unnatural genetic code, rocked the world. Life as we knew it, contained only four nucleobases, adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C) and guanine (G). Now scientists have added two more bases to the DNA of a bacterium and changed the face of natural life with the sole purpose that more bases would mean that the DNA so engineered would now be able to carry more information in the genetic material. The bacterium has accepted this change and is living and dividing. The face of our future, LIFE's future, has been changed. No one ever thought that this was possible and that nature can make room for this kind of unprecedented, groundbreaking, unthinkable and revolutionary change. So I ask you one more question then, ‘How much do we actually know about nature?’
Skeptics and scientists alike should not laugh at what science cannot explain with its current understanding of the universe. Complacency and adamant attitude are two things that a scientist must refrain from. There have been millions of cases reporting unexplained phenomena but we have not been able to investigate them in a manner that would provide us with solid and unambiguous answers. Related to the question of how to solve the mysteries of the unexplained are many other questions; like where to start those explanations from? Or, is it possible to find the roots of such mysteries in the treasure of the folk tales that our ancestors have gifted us with? It is as tragic as it is true that even in our times, which are considered to be the times when technological developments have explored new horizons, the subject relating to the realm of premonitions has been conveniently ignored from mainstream research. There are only a few people today who would even like to talk about the research on these subjects, much less support it.
This book explains the possible science behind premonitions and the explanations of the baffling phenomena of premonitions. Among many other cases, this book also brings to the readers, those accounts of premonitions, forebodings, precognitions and clairaudience that are very less known and discussed.

After researching the paranormal for more than two decades the author takes a position that there are countless things in existence that we are not aware of. So whenever we address the subject of paranormal with a presumption in our mind that it is just a collection of cooked up stories and interesting hoaxes, we should ask ourselves this question, ‘How much do we actually know?’ This book consists of those accounts which are laden with irrefutable evidence and which cannot be and have not been till date, debunked by even the strongest of critics. In this book you can find how lab tests have proven that we all own a form of creative energy that operates beyond the limits of time and space. Those who are interested in out-of-body-experiences can read about reports that prove that we all possess a second body which can travel through significant distances to visit a host or a specific place in little time and can be seen and felt by the host. The book includes a very interesting compilation of many accounts on alchemy for those who are interested in the practice. Readers will discover how alchemy was not just a philosophical tradition but was a contributor to many branches of studies in applied science.

This book is a collection of insights on how mind can subsist independent of the brain. Here, you will find a compilation of ideas on how mind and brain are bound in a continuum even though the two are unique. The reader of this book will find the answer to one of the biggest questions ever, 'Are mind and brain different?' Human beings are viewed in fundamentally two different terms, either as biological beings driven by millions of biochemical reactions taking place simultaneously in every cell of the living body or as spiritual beings crafted by a divine force driven by consciousness that manifests itself as life and conducts and coordinates each and every one of those millions of biochemical events. one thing is for sure, the living human body is a house of countless intricately designed micro-systems which are integrated in such a form that each one is vital for the existence of all the others. Now the question is, ‘Is any of the above two views absolute or is there a third stratum which fundamentally defines our existence with the greatest degree of preciseness?’

In recent years people have been rediscovering the processes and techniques created by famous supporters of the visualization tool like Jose Silva and Dr. Joseph Murphy. At the same time, we have also seen the development of many other techniques based on this too like Neurolinguistic Programming and other auto-suggestive techniques.
This is a fact that we practice visualization every day although we do it mostly unknowingly. Right from the moment we get up and sit up in our bed thinking what we will have for breakfast or what clothes are we going to wear that day, till the time we go to bed at night and fall asleep we keep on creating images in our mind. So, although we have a lifelong experience of this process, we still sometimes have trouble envisioning specific things. For that, we need techniques that can help us in doing so.
Visualization is thus a very effective tool not only to alter or even modulate our state of mind but also to create a path for a journey to success, achievement and acclaim. It is a tool that a multitude of psychologists teach their subjects for mental healing and wellness.
Today this tool and its derivative techniques are used in almost every corner of the world to get better results. Students can successfully and effectively use these techniques to get to unprecedented levels of academic performance and to stay more positive and motivated.
