Dr. Deepika Sharma is a medical doctor and she also has keen interest in literature. She has written many books. She has coauthored ‘Complete book of Yoga’ (Lotus publication), which is considered one of the best books on yoga. She has written health columns and articles in leading Hindi magazines like Grih Lakshmi, Aprajita. She is a recipient of the ‘Corona Warrior award ‘and ‘Chikitsa Seva Ratna Puraskar’.
