The author is a first-time writer. He is a M.Sc. graduate majoring in Applied Geophysics from School of Mines, Dhanbad. He joined ONGC in 1968 and retired in 2004 as Deputy General Manager. During his tenure at ONGC, he travelled extensively. He has been to all the corners of India, i.e., from east to west and north to south. During his tenure, he has interacted with people from different backgrounds, religions and regions.
