The author is a first-time writer. He is a M.Sc. graduate majoring in Applied Geophysics from School of Mines, Dhanbad. He joined ONGC in 1968 and retired in 2004 as Deputy General Manager. During his tenure at ONGC, he travelled extensively. He has been to all the corners of India, i.e., from east to west and north to south. During his tenure, he has interacted with people from different backgrounds, religions and regions. This collection of stories is an attempt to bring those aspects of human nature to the forefront, which he experienced during his stay at various places.
After retirement, he has settled down at Chandigarh.
