Khushbu Kirti, Alumni of La Martiniere Girls’ College, Lucknow and Seth M.R. Jaipuria, Lucknow is currently pursuing her graduation in English Honors from Motilal Nehru College of Delhi University.
She belongs to a family of poets and authors. Her grandfather wrote poetry in Hindi and his book “Aap ke Liye” was a popular hit in his times. The humorous memoirs written by her Uncle Mr.Padm Kirti in his book “Kisse Kachari ke,” are well-known and appreciated in the judicial circles of Lucknow.
She is a brilliant orator and a host- a quality which she imbibed from her father Dr.Vijay Kirti, who had been a newsreader in Akashvani, Lucknow for 23 years besides being a government officer. She is also a regular blogger and a freelance writer as she writes for various online blog sites. Khushbu is also a passionate dancer and is a part of various western dance societies and groups. The team has represented their college nationally as well.
She has shown concern for the underprivileged since childhood. She has organized several events to raise funds for charity and cancer treatment.
She has been fond of writing poems since her childhood and often recited her newly written poems to her friends, parents and relatives who always encouraged her to publish a book. A long-lasting ambition is being fulfilled by this book called My First Flight.
