Mr. M. Baskaran is in his mid-60s’ and lives with his second son in Chennai. His passion for Tamil literature and poems was nurtured during his early childhood by his grandfather, Natesan, who narrated innumerable stories from Tamil Sangam Literature while visiting him in his native hamlet, Vadagal in Sirkali. During his service in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Trichy, and services in Trade Union, he had always had the charisma to attract a bunch of fans around him with his literature and poems about them. A considerable share of his 2000+ Facebook friends comprises of those who were fascinated by his writings. Seema Uliyum Kai Vaalum is this first book of his selected poems.
