Mr. Prabhu Nath Yadav was born in 1959, in Azamgarh district, Uttar Pradesh. After graduation, he joined the Indian Air Force as an aircraft technician, and after leaving that, he joined the post of Section Engineer in Bilaspur Division of the then-known South Eastern Railway. While working here, he got selected for the post of Dy. Director in Directorate General of Training (D. G.T.) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship through UPSC. 
In 2001, he was appointed as Deputy Director at the Central Staff Training and Research Institute, Kolkata. Here the officers of the department and I.T.I. organized one and two week training programs on managerial subjects for Principals, Vice Principals, Executive Directors, and Instructors.
In 2003, he was transferred to NSTI, Dehradun. Here he conducted a three-month 'Principles of Teaching' course for ITI instructors and also did other teaching work. In 2019, he retired from the post of Regional Director of Uttarakhand (MSDE).   
After retiring, Mr. Prabhu Nath Yadav has tried to put all of his experiences in teaching for eighteen years and presented as a book through ‘Principles of Teaching’.
