The glorious world of literature welcomed Debadutta at a very young age. His boyhood days pushed him into listening to stories from his grandfather, and that is how the genesis of writing short stories occurred to him. But somewhere, there was a sense of void that disturbed his harmony, and with the onset of poetry in his life, Debadutta could find solace and unearth the purpose of his entity. From then on, a chain of his poems has found a place in numerous little magazines and anthologies of Kolkata and Bangladesh. Debadutta is closely associated with one of the renowned little magazines of Barak Valley, SAHITYA, and his first poetry book, AAKASHER THIKANA was published by PRATIVASH in the Kolkata Book Fair 2019, which enchanted the eyes of readers.
Debadutta loves to weave magic with his verses, and his poetry is encircled by the eminence of love, grievances and atrocities faced by millions around the globe. His ink chiefly contributes to the profundity of human life – moksha!
