Manotosh Kumar Mitra

Born in Hadipur near Berachampa, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal, his primary and intermediate education was in Burnpur in Burdwan District, West Bengal. He graduated from B. B. College and got his Post-graduate degrees from Kalyani University in applied mathematics both with government merit as well as mean scholarship.
