Writer Pinaki Nag, born in 1938, has a long association with literature. His Bengali translation work on 12 stories of Vietnam, Cuba and Laos was published in Ganashakti Daily between the years 1988 and 1991. In 1996, at Kolkata Book Fair, Pinaki published another Bengali book called Mukti Juddho Deshe Deshe, which is a collection of translated stories of Vietnam, Cuba and Laos along with 3 stories of Soviet Russia. ‘Netaji Mystery’ মূল গ্রন্থটি সর্বপ্রথম প্রকাশিত হয় হিন্দুস্তান স্ট্যান্ডার্ড পত্রিকায়, ধারাবাহিকভাবে। গ্রন্থটি প্রকাশিত হওয়ার সাথে সাথেই সারা দেশে এবং ভারতের পার্লামেন্টের মধ্যে প্রবল চাঞ্চল্য সৃষ্টি হয়। জনগণের মধ্য থেকে দাবী ওঠে, নেতাজী সম্পর্কে নতুন করে তদন্ত কমিটি বসাতে হবে।

ডঃ সত্যনারায়ণ সিনহা ফরমোসা থেকে রাশিয়া পর্য্যন্ত অজস্র জায়গায় ঘুরে বেড়িয়েছেন, অজস্র তথ্য সংগ্রহ করেছেন, অগুনতি মানুষের সঙ্গে কথা বলেছেন, প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের বক্তব্য শুনেছেন। বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রচার হয়েছে যে ১৮ই আগষ্ট ১৯৪৫ ফরমোসার তাইপেইয়ে নেতাজী প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন। কিন্তু বাস্তবের সঙ্গে এই প্রচারের কোন সম্পর্ক নেই। সেই দিন তাইপেইয়ে আদৌ কোন বিমান দুর্ঘটনাই ঘটেনি! যথেষ্ট প্রামান্য তথ্য পাওয়া গেছে যে ১৯৪৫ সালের ১৫ই আগষ্টের বহু পরেও নেতাজীকে মাঞ্চুরিয়ার ডাইরেনে জীবন্ত দেখা গেছে। নেতাজী রাশিয়ানদের সাইবেরিয়ার জেলখানায় বন্দী ছিলেন।

‘নেতাজী রহস্য’ গ্রন্থটির ছত্রে ছত্রে পাওয়া যাবে অজস্র রোমাঞ্চকর বিপদসংকুল অভিযানের কাহিনী, যেই পথ নেতাজীকে পেরিয়ে যেতে হয়েছে। ডঃ সত্যনারায়ন সিনহা সেই পথেই হেঁটেছেন নেতাজী রহস্য সংক্রান্ত প্রকৃত সত্যের সন্ধানে।

In 1999, at Kolkata Book Fair, Pinaki published his next book called Minar, a collection of his 24 original stories written in Bengali.
In 2012, Pinaki’s original Bengali poetic works were published in a book called Dahan.
In 2013, Pinaki’s translation work called Antarjatik Golpo Shonkolon was published, which contains a collection of 17 international stories.
In January 2021, Pinaki published his book named Kashmir, Sudhu Kashmir, the Bengali translation work of the original book written by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre named Freedom at Midnight.
 
This book, Netaji Rohoshyo, is a Bengali translated version of the original book, Netaji Mystery written by Dr. Satyanarayan Sinha.
