Poetry is a gift of God for I have not inherited poetry from anyone. Considering the time, context and atmosphere, my poetry is an outcome flowing out of my developed style and interest. Poetry is a gift of God for I have not inherited poetry from anyone. Considering the time, context and atmosphere, my poetry is an outcome flowing out of my developed style and interest. Due to the encouraging atmosphere at home, I started writing poetry from the young age of eleven. Two of my poems "Pehla Din", "Dil ki Pukar" have already been published. With this book "Smritiyaan", I am presenting before you a collection of my select 25 poems and will consider it my good fortune after reading the poems it helps you connect and enable you to take a trip down memory lane.
I was born in Hyderabad. My father Late. Vasanth Yadgirkar, retired as Joint Director Horticulture, Andhra Pradesh and mother Savithri Yadgirkar did her Diploma in Pharmacy. My childhood was spent in great love and care, credit for which largely goes to my two elder sisters (Pushpa and Madhavi). I live in Hyderabad with my mother, wife Savita Yadgirkar (Abacus & Vedic Maths Instructor),  our two sons Ritvik and Akshit Yadgirkar.
I did my schooling from St. Domnic’s High School, Hyderabad, Intermediate from St. Mary's Junior College, pursued my B.Tech (Civil) from G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College, Kurnool and enrolled for MBA (Human Resources) from ITM, Warangal and have been working in the field of Human Resources for the last 19 years.
In this journey of publishing, I would like to thank the entire team of Notion Press, Kavya especially Varuna and my friend Dr. Anil Kumar Trivedi who have helped in making this book better.
