Tanmay Chatterjee was born on 24th September 1994, in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. When he was around fifteen, he came in contact with some eminent teachers in his school, who sparked his interest in reading, which further grew into writing. Not having proper exposure to a literary culture, he relied instead on the aid of his teachers, combined with his interest in reading, to solidify his aim.   After passing out of school, he went to Ranchi for further studies.
