Moumita Bagchi

The Author was born in the decade of 1970s in Kolkata. Her family moved to North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal soon after her birth where she spent her entire childhood in her grandfather's house. She had her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. When she was in class 8 her father moved to Salt Lake City, Kolkata from where she cleared her class 10th and 12th boards. Later on she was enrolled to the Presidency College, Kolkata for her graduation. She finished her Masters in Hindi Literature from Calcutta University through Presidency College. The Author was born in the decade of 1970s in Kolkata. Her family moved to North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal soon after her birth where she spent her entire childhood in her grandfather's house. She had her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. When she was in class 8 her father moved to Salt Lake City, Kolkata from where she cleared her class 10th and 12th boards.
Later on she was enrolled to the Presidency College, Kolkata for her graduation. She finished her Masters in Hindi Literature from Calcutta University through Presidency College. She had also completed a one year diploma in Hindi Translation from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.
She had worked in the Official language Departments with two Government organizations (the latter organization being autonomous) as a Junior Hindi Officer and Hindi Translator respectively.
She is currently a blogger and doing freelancing in the field of both creative writing and translation.
