This book is not intended to replace or augment professional training in the area of counseling. It is not a book in psychotherapy where by the therapist seeks to radically remold the personality. Rather, it is hoped that the book will prepare the counselor/ therapist or lay counselor to render ready, sensible, initial help to those in need.

He is a Police Officer and Clinician. He hold Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Medicine &Toxicology (PgDFMT),Masters’ Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling (M.P.C) ,Doctor of Holistic Medicine(H.M.D) and Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.) in Psychiatry .He is a Principal Visiting Lecturer, College of Health Sciences at Legacy University the Gambia.
