Narinder Ghuman was born into a prominent military family and showed interest in poetry at a young age. She was often seen writing in her spare time and was the composer of many short stories that were recognized in her village. As she grew older, her poetry began to shift focus on spirituality, religion, and liberalism. Despite relocating to the United States, narinder has kept her Indian values alive through her poetry, in which many reference the beauty of India or memories of her upbringing in the country.
Later, Narinder would go on to become a writer with inspirations from her favorite authors including Rabindra Nath Tagore, Bhai Veer Singh, and her biggest inspiration, her late brother, S. Pirthi Pal Singh Ghuman. Even today, Narinder can often be found lost in her thoughts and cherished memories.
