This book aims to serve as a cornerstone resource for students and professionals in the fields of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), and those engaged in pharmaceutical research. The impetus for this book arises from a need for an integrative understanding of the myriad processes involved in the development of new drugs—from concept through to market.
