Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe human being has always been anxious to know the meaning of life, to realize his true nature and attain, the ultimate possible fulfillment!
The musings herein may perhaps trigger a process that might finally culminate, in what the human heart has always longed for – peace and harmony. The least they will do is help develop insights beyond ordinary perceptions. They could even be read just for entertainment or can simply be flipped through...
Many have claimed that these mystical musings have in them an intrinsic ability to awaken dormant intuitive understanding. Profound yet pragmatic, they hammer away at our basic misconceptions rendering the psyche free of all erroneous concepts.
From the profane to the sacred, the mundane to the mysterious, the seemingly trivial to the most fundamental, get ready for a scrumptious serving of 'Zen'ish titbits. For all, you know this pithy little 'book' could be the one you may have been secretly pining to read.
“This is a delightful book to be kept like a vade mecum[ready reference] to be dipped into from time to time for entertainment, edification and, perhaps, why not, enlightenment. The author has a real flair for utterances which have an aphoristic quality.”
- MOUNTAIN PATH, quarterly journal published by Sri Ramanasramam, India
Mahesh Hangal
Mahesh Hangal, ever since he can remember considers himself a ‘professional spiritual seeker’. His search for ‘the peace that surpasseth all understanding’ took him to Osho, U G krishnamurti & many many others. He is extremely well read. He is more than conversant with Zen, Tao, Advaita and other spiritual stuff. He has dabbled in reiki, trancedental meditation, E.F.T & other self-help techniques/ therapies/meditations. His seeking finally ended when he met the advaitic sage Shri Ramesh Balsekar. Reading Wayne Liquorman [disciple of Ramesh Balsekar & an advaitic sage himself] further grounded him in the ‘understanding’.
Mahesh has also published a book of Urdu/Hindi ghazals titled 'Lo fir hai saamne deewar koi'. He ran a book library for over thirty four years. He is presently a mutual fund distributor. He is an event organizer as well, specializing in Indian classical music.
He is a bachelor and resides in Hubli, Karnataka, India. When he was asked to tell something more about himself he flippantly quoted a musing of his "Apart from the story of the world, I have no story of my own".
