G. Harihara Iyer started his career as a mechanical engineer, moving on to mining a few years later. He is a certified energy auditor (Bureau of Energy Efficiency of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India), involved in training at industries, engineering and architectural colleges. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards and has published more than 125 papers. He has completed several energy conservation projects.
He is a senior training faculty at Petroleum Conservation and Research Association of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gases, Govt. of India. He holds an Assocham Green certificate.
