Dr. Anant Manerikar
Dr. Anant Manerikar is a retired Professor of Pharmacology. He has been writing poems in Marathi as well as English since his school days. So far, he has written 250 poems in Marathi and more than 400 poems in English. His English poems have been posted on the website gotpoetry.com.
He hails from a beautiful hamlet, Maneri, situated on the border of Goa and Maharashtra in Sindhudurg District. He studied at Seth G S Medical College and Grant Medical College, Mumbai. He currently lives in New Mumbai.
He is a recipient of Rashtriya Gaurav Award, Indira Gandhi Shiromani Award, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award and the Best Citizen of India Award.
