B.Varun is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore from 2008 onwards. He has completed his ME in Engineering Design under Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2011, and obtained B.E. Mechanical Engineering (2005) from CSI College of Engineering, Ketti. He is a passionate teacher with an experience of 15 years. Not only teaching but also has research experience of 5 year. He handles courses on Dynamics of Machines, Design of Machine Elements, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, and Finite Element Analysis. His research interests include Vibration Analysis, Friction Stir Processing, Material Characterization and Optimization. He has undertaken a project sponsored from TNSCST and also from DST-NIMAT. He has presented/authored more than 7 research papers in both National/International level conferences. He has 6 publications in International Journals.
