Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalKings are not born. They are what’s left after the fire.
Prince Julian has already burned his kingdom to the ground. A runaway haunted by failure, he finds his only solace at the bottom of a bottle. But when the sea casts him into a pirate fortress, he finds a new war to fight.
He discovers the last of the Lemurian soldiers, a nation in a cage, petrified by a living death. To free them, he must take up a legendary quest for a cure—the Purple Mint—hidden in the heart of a forbidden kingdom.
It is a path that has broken heroes and humbled gods. To walk it, Julian must do more than survive. He must face the sins that became his teachers and embrace a terrifying destiny that whispers his true name: God of Death.

I've always been fascinated by the stories of the un-chosen. While my first book, I Feel Like, explored the internal battles of love, loss, and self-discovery, my new epic fantasy series, beginning with King Julian, takes that same fight and places it on a much larger stage.
When I wrote the bio for my first book, I ended it with a simple, honest line: "I'm just a no-one trying to be someone." That feeling is the heart of everything I write. It's the core of Julian's journey from a drunken, broken prince to a man searching for a purpose worth fighting for.
I write for anyone who has ever felt like a kingdom in ruins, and for the fierce, defiant hope that even from dust, you can forge a crown. Thank you for joining me on this quest.
